Diving at Ko Chang in Thailand

Ko Chang, Ko Wai, Ko Rang: small islands with exotic names in the Gulf of Thailand, just some kilometres away from Cambodia. Since the Thai government has discovered the beauty of the waters around these Islands - and its economical value - these area is declared as National Park. Difficult to protect in an area that lives from fishing these declaration might be more a symbolic value. But fishermen as well as divers and snorkelers enjoy the rich underwater fauna of these waters. It looks like there is enough here for everybody!
Four dives we enjoy in depths less than 14 meters. A depth where we have a lot of time to enjoy all the different corals, colourful christmas-trees, anemones and nudibranches. And also the enormous variety of fish: Butterflyfish, Angelfish, Boxfish, Rabbitfish, Barracuda, Ray, Moray-Eel, Anemonefish and many more ...
And in addition to these excursions into the aquarium we too the time to learn a bit more about save diving: we made the course to "PADI Rescue Diver". After four days of much theory and practical training we now know how to avoid accidents in the water and how to help in case of emergencies.
Here are some moments which we managed to catch for you ...
