The Kariba-Dam: Buildt from 1956 it holds back 180.000.000.000 m³ of Water with an surface of about 5230 km². The water did not only force thousands of wild animal out of the Zambezi-valley, also 57 thousand people - mostly Tonga - were forcibly resettled.
