In Mua, a catholic mission at the southern Lake Malawi, the missionars try to make the people aware of their culture. Therefor a museum about the changing past of the region was built. On the outside of the building, important stations in the history are painted: here the peacemaking of two tribes which had fought each other for a long time.

Close to the village Zuwurufu we found the last bamboo-bridge of Malawi. Although it does not look very stable it is well used by the local people -it's the only possibility to cross the river for more than fifty kilometres!
