The Franklin River joins the Gordon River right here. About 15 years ago a dam should have been built right here, flooding all the area besides these two rivers. Thanks to the resistance of the people of Strahan, this project hasn't been realised and thousands of hectares rainforest have been saved.

One of the big attractions on Tasmania's East Coast is a flight in a seaplane. We took the chance to change our perspective and enjoyed the flight!
