Australia is governed from here. The new Parliamenthouse looks over Canberra - the town that was planned to be the capital in the beginning 20th Century reigns the state since 1927.

We enjoyed the "National Museum of Australia" in Canberra quite a lot. Not only the outer design but also the very good collection and exhibition inside!

In Melbourne - like in many other towns - we see a lot of buildings of Victorian style, like this train station.

We met the Family of Guy and Claire some years ago in Zimbabwe. In the year 2001 they were forced to leave their home country - like so many others - because of the cruel regime of Mugabe and fled to Australia.
